Philip, a digital pioneer, has been at the forefront of digital media development for the past twenty five years. He is an accomplished technology, marketing and business strategist and entrepreneur with the hands-on ability to turn ideas into results. He has founded and grown three market-leading communications agencies: The Creative Marketing Network, x2idea Corporation, and Group Multimedia Network (GMN), Canada’s fifth-largest privately-owned agency at the time.
Philip’s national and international track record includes many educational, non-profit, American Indian and corporate clients, including the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of the American Indian, Grant MacEwan University, Brock University, Tyndale University & Seminary, Confederation College, First Nations Oweesta Corporation, Georgian College, Bayshore Bank & Trust, Microsoft, ATI Technologies, NEC, Samsung and Cisco Systems.
Since Academica Group acquired x2idea, Philip has led the digital media division of the company which provides web strategy, creative and development services for medium to large scale web projects in the higher education sector. Currently Philip’s team is also developing a new collaborative Enrolment Analytics Research Platform for Higher Education and has just released Version3 of Academica’s Drupal-based HigherEd CMS Module.
Philip holds an HBA in English and Media Studies from the University of Stirling, Scotland.
