Trent student uses photo exhibit to protest private residence plan

A third-year Trent University student hopes her photo exhibit at a Peterborough café will initiate dialogue about the university's controversial private student residence proposal. As part of a class project, Holly Norris, a member of the No Private Residence at Trent coalition, took photos of wildlife and plant life from the area slated for development, then superimposed site plan images on top of the pictures. Norris says she wanted to document the space "before potentially all the wildflowers are gone and they pave over everything." Peterborough Examiner | Photos
