Sep 7, 2010 Langara College has started rolling out its new brand identity. The new logo reads: "Langara. The College of Higher Learning." The brand incorporates the phrase "A shade different from other colleges." Speaking of shades, Langara has adopted the colour orange, which, as described on a microsite devoted to the new look, is "intellectual," "ambitious," and "forward-thinking." While it is true that the graphs issued in the Quest media release show only that Quest students far surpass the average of all Canadian universities, it is my understanding that Quest also compared their results with those of individual universities published in last year's Maclean's rankings, and that in fact their scores far surpass every individual Canadian university as well. NSSE doesn't encourage the publication of comparison data, however, so Quest is leaving it up to us to check the math ourselves, I guess!
