Google introduces course-scheduling system
May 28, 2010
Google has launched a new course-scheduling system called CloudCourse that could potentially have implications for post-secondary education. Integrated with Google Calendar, the system allows users to schedule classes, look up user profiles, and sync the service's data with internal university systems. One potential use for CloudCourse would be to manage class rosters with tools allowing users to a look at enrolled versus waitlisted students, record student attendance, and change a student's enrolment status in a course.
