US survey finds arts grads are generally satisfied, employed

June 25, 2012

According to a new survey from the US-based Strategic National Arts Alumni Project (SNAAP), 87% of responding arts graduates who are currently employed are satisfied with the position in which they spend the majority of their work time. Of those employed graduates, 82% are satisfied with their ability to be creative in their current employment, whether working in the arts or other fields. Just 4% of respondents reported being unemployed and looking for work -- less than half the national rate of 8.9%. SNAAP News Release | Inside Higher Ed | Report
