uToronto runs pilot project on embedded counselling

A pilot project at the University of Toronto in which counsellors are embedded within specific faculties is increasing students' access to mental-health professionals at the institution. Student feedback has shown that having a counsellor so accessible influenced their decision to seek help. The pilot project, which launched last fall, is one of a number of recent initiatives at uToronto designed to support student mental health and mitigate the impact of stigma associated with mental illness. uToronto News
