Lambton College unveils new Aboriginal Cultural Learning Centre

November 7, 2011

Last Thursday marked the opening of Lambton College's new Aboriginal Cultural Learning Centre, whose larger space in the main hall on campus is outfitted with new computer stations and cabinetry. Traditional wall hangings and gifts presented by several Aboriginal communities will help decorate the centre. Approximately 30 Aboriginal students use the centre daily to study, eat lunch, and receive academic counselling. Currently, there are 90 self-identified Aboriginal students enrolled at Lambton College. Sarnia Observer
