2 uOttawa students hurt in chemical explosion

2 University of Ottawa students were injured Wednesday afternoon following a minor chemical explosion in the university's biosciences complex. A 19-year-old woman received minor chemical burns to her hands, and a 24-year-old man sustained burns to his hands and face, and also had a cut on his face. It is believed the explosion occurred in a lunchroom area, where the injured man brought his experiment to show a friend. Ottawa Citizen
