$70 million for uMontréal, École Polytechnique campus infrastructure

In addition to the $69-million allocated to Concordia University, the federal and Quebec governments also announced Wednesday over $70 million from the Knowledge Infrastructure Program for capital projects at the Université de Montréal and its affiliated engineering school, École Polytechnique. Funding will support, for example, the renovation of 45 lecture halls and corridors at uMontréal, medical research at the university's Institut de recherche en immunologie et en cancérologie, and nanoscience and nanotechology research facilities at École Polytechnique. uMontréal News Release (in French) | Montreal Gazette
