$9 million for Queen's-based research centre

On Friday, the federal government announced $9.1 million in funding for PARTEQ Innovations, the technology commercialization office of Queen's University, to establish GreenCentre Canada, a new Centre of Excellence for Commercialization and Research focusing on green chemistry technology. The new research centre, to be located at the university's Innovation Park, will bring together experts to develop cleaner, less energy-intensive solutions for traditional chemical and manufacturing processes.
