Cambrian, George Brown launch technician programs

Cambrian College and George Brown College have announced that they will be offering new technician programs. Cambrian is launching a two-year Chemical Engineering Technician program that will cover a variety of topics, such as industry-standard chemistry practices, mineral processing, water treatment, and sampling. The program will focus on providing students with hands-on training to meet labour needs. George Brown is launching a fully online electric vehicle (EV) technician certificate program that will cover topics such as diagnosing, servicing, and repairing EVs and installing and maintaining EV charging stations. It requires no prior technical knowledge and can be completed on a flexible timeline, making it accessible to professionals who are upskilling.
