Campus expansion project begins at Algoma U

On Friday, Algoma University held a groundbreaking ceremony for its $16-million Biosciences and Technology Convergence Centre. In addition to teaching and faculty research labs, established enterprises, such as the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre, will anchor the facility. The centre will also house the newly-launched Algoma Games for Health, a design studio bringing computer games technology to the delivery of health care and rehabilitation services.
