Douglas College launches video talent contest

December 14, 2009

BC-based Douglas College is running a YouTube contest in which prospective and current students are invited to produce 2-minute videos showcasing their talent. After the videos are uploaded to the college's "Doug's Got Talent" YouTube group, a committee comprising students, faculty and staff will select 9 finalists, whose entries will be posted on the school's website for voting. The creators of the 3 videos with the most votes by the end of March will each receive a grand prize of $4,000 in tuition credits, and there will be 3 runner-up prizes of $400 tuition vouchers.
