March 11, 2013

Lakehead University's board of governors has approved the final draft of the institution's strategic plan for 2013-18. The plan will employ and embrace 5 priorities: community engagement, economic development, growth and capacity development, learner-centred student experience, and nurturing scholarship. The board anticipates that by 2018, major new initiatives to attract and retain international, Aboriginal, and graduate students, coupled with Lakehead's successful undergraduate and graduate programs, will result in an overall enrolment of 10,000 students.
