Laval police to set up command post at Montmorency to further investigate nearby shooting

The Laval police will be setting up a command post at Collège Montmorency in order to further investigate the off-campus shooting that sent the college into a lockdown in November. The Montreal Gazette reports that police say they have reason to believe that someone may have witnessed the shooting. The police will be stationed at the institution in an effort to contact anyone who may have witnessed the attempted murder. The shootings were reportedly connected with a local street gang.
