McMaster University has partnered with the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine (BNITM) to build their collective capacity to address global health threats. The institutions will collaboratively prepare to respond to potential future pandemics. The collaboration will include research exchanges and programs aimed at creating solutions to global health threats. “The collaboration with BNITM gives Canada’s Global Nexus a new lens on parts of the world where we currently have limited access,” said Gerry Wright, Scientific Director at McMaster’s Michael G DeGroote Institute for Infectious Disease Research. “This will significantly expand our capacity to anticipate and tackle global health threats.” McMaster | InSauga (ON)
