McMaster research centre receives $10.5M in federal funding

The Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization at McMaster University has received $10.5M in federal funding for radiopharmaceutical research and development, reports the Hamilton Spectator. The funding is part of an $80M package from Canada's Centres of Excellence for Commercialization and Research program. “This investment, it will lead to better diagnostics for cancer and heart disease and it will also lead to jobs here in Hamilton,” said Minister of Science and Sport Kirsty Duncan.
