Mississauga approves lease agreement for Sheridan campus

Last Thursday, the City of Mississauga approved a lease agreement for a new Sheridan College campus in the city centre. In the first phase of development, the campus will accommodate 1,760 students when it opens in fall 2011, and another 3,740 students will follow in the second phase, bringing potential student enrolment to 5,000. The city and Sheridan have also reached an agreement on sharing costs to service and develop the property, as well as the construction and operation of 2 municipal parking lots with at least 352 parking stalls.
