MRU, SFU become first campuses in their provinces to receive Changemaker designation

Mount Royal University and Simon Fraser University have become the first PSE institutions in Alberta and British Columbia, respectively, to be recognized as a global Changemaker Campus by Ashoka U. The designation recognizes investment in the continuous development of individuals who see the value of higher education in making the world a better place. In receiving the recognition, the schools have been invited to join a group of over 40 universities around that world that have received this designation from Ashoka U, which is part of Ashoka, the world’s largest network of social entrepreneurs and changemakers.
