MUN acting president recommended for top position at UNB

February 10, 2009

Memorial University acting president Eddy Campbell has been unanimously selected as a proposed candidate for the presidency at the University of New Brunswick. In a statement, Campbell says he is "excited by this new opportunity and eager to explore it further." The recommendation comes a year after the Newfoundland and Labrador government rejected Campbell for the top position at MUN. The NL government has been heavily criticized for its involvement in MUN's presidential search. Message from MUN president | UNB News Release | Canadian Press
