MUN's Yaffle celebrates first anniversary

A year ago, Memorial University introduced Yaffle, a search engine designed to provide greater access to the institution's research and expertise. Since then, Yaffle has received close to 50,000 hits from people from 157 nations on 6 continents, and currently averages around 125 hits daily. Users of the site can look up experts, browse research projects conducted by the university, and submit research ideas. As of last week, over 1,140 research projects are profiled in Yaffle.
