NVIT opens new centre for sustainability

The Nicola Valley Institute of Technology has officially opened the Centre of Excellence in Sustainability. A release states that the facility will house NVIT’s environmental resource technology and culinary programs. “The Centre of Excellence in Sustainability is truly intergenerational, with spaces that bring together children, elders, community members, and students who will learn the skills they need to be part of a vibrant B.C. economy,” stated Melanie Mark, British Columbia’s Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Training.
