Ontario distributes $10 million for college equipment upgrades

The Ontario government announced Friday that the province's 24 colleges will receive $10 million this year to update resources and equipment as part of the 3-year, $60-million investment from the College Equipment Renewal Fund. The institutions can purchase a variety of equipment and materials, such as software for teaching purposes, books or electronic material for libraries, and tools for use in shops. The investment's purpose is to ensure students graduate with the knowledge and skills employers need. Ontario News Release
