Oshawa student housing project funding approved

Last Thursday, Oshawa city council approved the final piece of a funding package that will allow the construction of a $27-million student apartment building in the city. The apartment will house 566 students, alleviating part of the student housing crisis that has gripped neighbourhoods near the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Durham College.
