Ryerson Announces New Photography Gallery and Research Centre

Yesterday, Ryerson University president Sheldon Levy announced the $8 million Ryerson Photography Gallery and Research Centre, to be housed in the School of Image Arts building at the heart of campus. It will house the University's Black Star Historical Photography Collection, open to tourists and the public, as well as hosting expanded graduate studies in Photographic Preservation, MFA in Documentary Media, and Collections Management (the only program of its kind in the world).
