Trent student group report urges university to address on-campus racism

A new report from the Trent University organizing committee for the Canadian Federation of Students Task Force on Campus Racism calls on the university to change its policies to address the problem of racism on campus. The report recommends Trent expand educational anti-racism campaigns to target "Islamophobia," and hire more visible minorities as faculty. According to one testimonial included in the report, a female student once returned to her dorm room to find her roommate and her friend writing "terrorist" above her bed. Peterborough Examiner
