Tyndale launches new Guardians brand and logo for competitive athletics program

Tyndale University College & Seminary has unveiled a new athletic brand name and logo to promote the launch of its new competitive sports program. The Tyndale Guardians name was chosen unanimously by a focus group consisting of staff, faculty, students, and alumni; the logo was designed by a Tyndale alum, and features a shield and sword that depict a “T” for Tyndale and a “G” for Guardians. The new brand and logo will elevate the profile of the athletics program as it expands to include competitive teams such as women’s basketball, men’s hockey and men’s and women’s volleyball. The club team program is designed to be a stepping stone to varsity-level competition in the future. Tyndale News
