U of Northern Virginia’s operating license revoked

University of Northern Virginia, an unaccredited institution that was raided by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials in 2011 in relation to its enrolment of foreign students, has had its operating licence revoked. The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia said the university failed to obtain candidacy status with an accrediting agency approved by the US Department of Education in 5 years.
