UBC Teacher Evaluations to Become Public

UBC's student association, the Alma Mater Society, will bring back "Yardstick," an online collection of teaching evaluations from each faculty. Evaluations were posted online between 1994 and 2002, but were ended because UBC administration promised something better. AMS has lost patience after four years of delay. Various UBC faculties interpret privacy guidelines differently, and share different amounts of data -- or none.
