August 9, 2019

The Centre de recherche en sciences animales de Deschambault (CRSAD), which stems from a partnership between the Province of Quebec and the Université Laval, has received an investment of up to $1.4M from the Government of Canada. The investment will go towards three research projects related to ducks, honeybees, and goats. "In addition to the new knowledge acquired, the projects will contribute to the training of highly-qualified personnel who will then be able to act as agents of change in the production of bees, dairy goats or ducks and continue to support innovation in these sectors,” explained CRSAD President Doris Pellerin. “The projects will also contribute to the improvement of production conditions and animal welfare."
