ULethbridge adopts Iniskim Governance Process

The University of Lethbridge has developed and adopted a new Iniskim Governance Process in order to meet the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action. The process, which was developed with guidance from Dr Leroy Little Bear and Elders in Residence, focuses on supporting students through their academic journey and helping to create employment opportunities for them. Advisory circles will draw on guidance from the Awahksaataaksi Council to lead initiatives focused on education and employment opportunities for youth. All units at ULethbridge will align themselves with the new strategic priority, and Indigenous knowledge and ways of knowing will be infused across campus.
