UManitoba receives over $3.7M for two collaboration projects in agriculture, research commercialization

The University of Manitoba will be receiving over $3.7M from the Government of Canada for two projects that will support innovation and collaboration in Western Canada. UManitoba’s Digital Architecture will receive over $2.49M to support a project that will “advance agricultural research and training capacity for students in collaboration with industry partners.” UManitoba’s Lab2Market will receive over $1.23M to enhance research commercialization performance and processes. “We are excited to work with the many partners on these two new projects that will advance agricultural innovation and take research from lab to market, both providing experiential training opportunities for students and advancing industry innovation,” said Dr Digvir Jayas, UManitoba VP (Research and International).
