University Enrolment Down in Nova Scotia

October 27, 2006

Nova Scotia universities report an overall decline of 2.2% in FTE enrollment this year, the biggest decline in five years. Cape Breton University reports a decline of 7.5%, while Acadia and Saint Mary's report a 6.1% decline. Enrolments are up, on the other hand, at NSCAD and St. Francis Xavier. Apparently, Acadia has recently laid off staff. CBC item
