UOIT president to retire

University of Ontario Institute of Technology president Dr. Ronald Bordessa announced Monday he plans to retire at the end of his current contract in June 2011. Until his retirement next year, Bordessa will preside over the opening of the General Motors of Canada Automotive Centre of Excellence, the Clean Energy Lab, the move of the social science and humanities faculty to downtown Oshawa, and the opening of the Energy Research Centre next spring.
