uOttawa announces plans for Alumni Hall

May 13, 2014

The University of Ottawa capped off its Alumni Week with the announcement of plans to build a new Alumni Hall, the first building dedicated to this purpose in the institution’s history. The building will house reception and conference rooms, an alumni wall of fame, and workstations designated for alumni use. At a cost of over $3.5 million, the new hall will be built by renovating 2 heritage buildings on campus, including the former home of the first student to graduate from uOttawa. “This is a unifying project. Located in the heart of campus, the new hall will symbolize the ties that bind our alumni to their alma mater, as well as the appreciation the University has for its proudest ambassadors” said uOttawa President Allan Rock. uOttawa News Release
