US students average 19.2 hours online per week

The fact that 95% of US college students use the Internet at least once a month is not shocking.Full-time students at 4-year US colleges are spending an average of 19.2 hours per week on the web, up from the 2006 average of 18.2.Further, more than 80% of students use social network sites regularly.Every day activities such as course scheduling, reserving laundry machines and scouring menus can all be done online at most campuses.“College students are always online.It’s so integrated into other routines, its no longer an activity unto itself.”eMarket er
