uWaterloo Students Released on Terrorism Charges

According to the uWaterloo student newspaper, the Imprint, four former and current UW students who were members of the campus Tamil Students Association, arrested in late August on terrorism-related charges, have recently been freed on more than $1 million bail. Suresh Sriskandarajah, a recent UW grad and alleged "ringleader," faces the possibility of 25 years in US prison on charges of bribery, money laundering, and attempting to buy weapons for overseas terrorist organizations.
